Excellent may not be good enough to describe it. What can I say about this Annke CCTV system.
To summarize, a great budget system well worth the money I have also installed the FREE Annke phone app, this is really great, meaning I can view real time footage and play back recorded footage of my property when I am not there. The emailing facility is brilliant sending a picture taken every 2 seconds while the motion detection is activated. The motion detection facility is excellent and reliable. For my purposes the quality is fine, I can identify persons caught in the cameras. These are 720p cameras so the picture definition isn't the best but they are what they are, if you want better go for 1080p cameras. Once you have the videos beside you set up is a breeze.ģ) SYSTEM PERFOMANCE. This can look quite daunting however forget the literature provided, log on to You tube and search for "Annke System Set up" (or similar) and you will find a step by step video which is easy to follow, the same can be said for setting the system up for motion detection and emailing. If you want to use the emailing and online remote viewing facilities you will have to provide a Ethernet cable to connect the DVR to your router.Ģ) SYSTEM SET UP. Connecting the cameras to the recorder is a simple plug system (all cables provided) and the system requires 2 power sockets (one for the DVR and one to supply the cameras). All fixings (screw, wall plugs, etc are provided). Basic DIY skills and tools required to fit the cameras (a template is provided to guide you as to where to drill).
